4 Tips Every Bride Needs to Know

 

Fit is everything. Which is why when it comes to your wedding, alterations are so very important.  It doesn't matter what you paid for the dress!   If it's not altered properly it will never  have your vision of how you want to look on that day!

1. Stay on Schedule

To take the stress out of wedding-dress alterations, it's best to buy your dress early, leaving plenty of time for fittings and custom alterations. Schedule a fitting two to three months before the wedding.

2. Remember to Budget for Alterations

Bridal alterations can add up. Average cost is around $375.

If there is design changes to the dress adding sleeves, additional bead work etc. the cost can reach up to $500 plus. Alteration fees are to be paid at your first fitting. Alterations cannot be started until Paid in Full. 

 

3.  Bring Your Wedding Shoes and Accessories

 Make sure to bring the shoes you'll be wearing on your wedding day! Your hem and bustle alterations depend on it! bring your veil and jewelry if you already have them. 4. Bring a Friend

It's always good to bring your mom or a friend with you to your dress fittings, just so you have an extra set of eyes. Bring someone with a great sense of style and an opinion you trust!
